Review: Ghetto Fantasy - Galvis Ardoin

REVIEW

Ghetto Fantasy is one of those books that keeps you thinking long after turn the last page. Ja'Quan didn't have a normal childhood, but he had an uncle that took on the role as his father and showed him the love he deserved.

Tragedy strikes and Ja'Quan is left with a hole in his heart and a need to prove himself. I was instantly drawn into this story and felt every emotion the author was trying to convey. It's not too often that a story leaves a lasting impression on your heart after reading. Ja'Quan's character was very realistic and gave the impression of trying to be a good man and follow in the footsteps of his uncle. He makes the best of a bad situation, even when situations have you lost in the shuffle.

This is a book that I will read again and recommend it to anyone looking for a heartfelt read that leads up to an exciting conclusion.
