Monster tells the story
of Ken Ferguson and the aftermath of “Love” doing him wrong. Ken grew up in a
dysfunctional family – being a witness to his father’s infidelity and the
effects it has on his mother, being bullied for his skin color, and being cheated
on by his one “True Love." Not knowing how to deal with his problems Ken
sets out on a path of destruction. Will Ken be able to learn from his mistakes?
This is a story; I feel
everyone can relate to on some level. In life, we all have to go through pain,
but it's up to us to gain knowledge from it. I did find a few errors in this
book, but it didn't take away from the message the Author was trying to convey.
