Best-Selling Author, Wesley Paisley is on his way to an
Awards ceremony when he loses control of his car – bumps his head and is left on
the highway – with no memory & holding on for dear life. He is “saved” by a
dysfunctional racist family who decides to keep his identity a secret because
they are more concern about claiming the reward money. Will Wesley be able to regain his memory
before it’s too late?
Anyone that has read a Brian W. Smith book knows you will be
in store for some dramatic turns that will keep you guessing to the very end.
When I read the synopsis for Amnesia, I was very eager to get my hands on the
book.
The premise of this book is very good, but unlike other
Brian W. Smith books I have read in the past, I wasn’t invested in these
characters. I felt there were some parts of the book (Jacob/Malcolm) that
should have been left on the cutting room floor. In my opinion, the story
started off full blast, but lost some of its steam somewhere in the middle of
the read.
In true Brian W.
Smith style he did add a twist at the end of the story that I definitely didn’t
see coming. Overall, Amnesia is not a bad read, and it will definitely have you
talking.
