Review: Borrowed Time - Donna Michele Ramos

REVIEW

I really enjoyed this book from start to finish; it was refreshing to read about an African American woman and her actual contributions during such an important turning point in history. Fawn's character had a way of making you feel every emotion, as if you were really in her shoes. The author did a fantastic job of combining real historical facts with a timeless love story. I adored the storyline and that you not only get to experience fawn and Cortlandt’s love story, but also that of her parents and grandparents. For me, that extra detail makes this book all the more interesting.
